R.I.P. Rico

RICO was my all time favorite car.
I liked it more than my Chevy truck, ford escort, and 4x4 dodge diesel truck.

I loved driving it, anywhere, anytime. It was so awesome to have. It had cool hidden features in it. For instance, if you held down the unlock button on the keychain, all the windows would roll down and the sunroof would open! How awesome and perfect is that?!

July 5th, 2006 was the best day ever, until Nov 7 of that same year.
While running an errand for a friend, somebody pulled out in front of me in the middle of the road and I hit them (while it was their fault). Later, I wished that I would have hit them harder... They pulled off into a parking lot, and about 6 people jumped out of the car and bolted in several directions while I was left in the middle of the street, looking over the damage Rico had been dealt. And it was bad.
A biker saw the driver and chased after him. It was so awesome! He made the guy come back and the cops showed up. Ends up the little hispanic kid had no insurance, and had been drinking. Awesome. I don't know what ever happened to the kid, but I know I'm not facebook friends with him. Also, I'm pretty sure that Rico is in a car grave somewhere, parted out to other little BMW's out there in the world. It's sad and depressing, right?
Anyways, here's to good reminiscing.
